About us

Who we are

Girls Into VC is the first global organization dedicated to empowering young women to break into venture capital. We’re building a future where women lead in investing, innovation, and impact.

Why we exist

Venture capital is 91% male—and female founders receive just 2% of funding. We’re here to change that by equipping the next generation of women with the tools, connections, and confidence to succeed.

What we do

Resources

Our resources make venture capital accessible and approachable. Our guidebook offers a clear, 150-page roadmap for breaking into VC, while our weekly newsletter keeps you informed with curated updates and opportunities. For deeper insights, our bi-weekly podcast features women leaders sharing their stories and advice to inspire your path.

Programs

Our programs are designed to build skills and foster connections. The fellowship is a 10-week experience with industry speakers and real-world projects to launch your career. The mentorship program pairs you with seasoned venture capitalists for personalized guidance, while the externship connects you with female-led startups for practical, hands-on learning. Through the scout program, you’ll help source startups and connect founders with investors, and our campus chapters bring Girls Into VC’s mission to schools, building local networks and hosting events.

Events

Our events bring everything together. These gatherings feature workshops, panels, and pitch competitions that inspire and connect aspiring women in venture capital with industry leaders and peers. Whether you’re attending your first event or launching your next big idea, our events are a space to learn, collaborate, and grow.
